yin yoga

whiro / new moon

The dark moon leads us inward toward a gentle restorative yin yoga practice held once a month to honour this phase.

Yin yoga works with the connective tissue, joints & the energetic meridian lines within the body. A deep, slow, meditative, floor based practice. We hold & breathe with aprox 5 yoga shapes for the duration of the class.

75 MINS

Person practicing yoga between two large trees in a forest setting, wearing black exercise clothing.

The vinyasa flow is our foundational practice. This is a flow of movement to the rhythm of your breath, activating the belly of your muscles.

The practice is made up of sun salutations, balance, back bends & deep stretching. We finish with sāvasana relaxation.
